Our mission
Dutch day traders and investors often get their information from American YouTube gurus (who have no idea what Box 3 is), from influencers (who are paid by the broker they recommend) or from broker websites themselves (which never mention that competitor X is cheaper). An independent, NL-specific, source-cited reference was missing.
We fill that gap. Every claim about fees, regulation or trader returns is backed by a public source — the AFM register, broker ToS or a trader biography. We run 3 fact-check rounds per broker update, publicly documented in the git history.
Who is "we"?
Daytraders.nl is published by DMA Europe B.V. (Hilversum, Netherlands, KvK 32054576), an AFM-registered Dutch investment firm. DMA Europe's regulated services are delivered via our separate brands Easybroker (self-directed retail brokerage) and Noble & Partners (premium investment advisory) — not via this site.
The editorial side of Daytraders.nl runs lean by design: Sander van Essen (Director Retail Brokerage & Operations at DMA Europe) writes and edits personally, with AI support (Claude, Gemini) for research, translations, and fact-checking — coupled to a public verification flow in the git history. That setup keeps the editorial independent of sponsor pressure, course sales targets, or internal commercial KPIs.
What makes us different
- I. Sourcing as the norm
Every factual statement can be traced to a verifiable source. If a claim cannot be verified, it is not published or is explicitly marked as "assumption". - II. Dutch as the starting point
AFM, DNB, iDEAL, SEPA and Box 3 are part of the content, not a translation add-on. The English and Spanish editions run alongside, not ahead. - III. No fake gurus
Strategies on this site come from traders whose track record is public and verifiable — Buffett, Lynch, Soros, Dalio — not anonymous Discord admins with a course to sell.
How we fund this
Affiliate income from three sources: broker partners (including Finst, Easybroker, TradingView, bunq), prop firm partners and Amazon Associates for trading books and gear. When you open an account or buy a product via our link, we receive a small fee — at no extra cost to you.
This does not influence the reviews. We mention the downsides of partners explicitly, compare with competitors where they are better, and do not automatically rank affiliate partners at the top of listings. Full explanation on the affiliate disclosure page.
What we are not
Daytraders.nl is not an investment advice service. Publications on this site do not fall under the regulated investment services of DMA Europe B.V. DMA Europe is AFM-registered as an investment firm (Wft licence) — those services are delivered via our separate brands Easybroker (self-directed retail brokerage) and Noble & Partners (premium investment advisory), not via Daytraders.nl. Nothing on this site constitutes personal investment advice. For personal advice or regulated investment services, consult one of those brands or another Wft-regulated independent adviser.
Also: no Discord, no signals group, no course, no subscription. If you are looking for trading signals or "secret strategies" — we do not provide those. We would rather teach you to make your own analysis.
